RELO Vietnam Fulbright TEA Alumni Conference 2021
Online - August 14-15, 2021
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (Fulbright TEA) is a U.S. Government sponsored teacher exchange program. Fulbright TEA brings international, secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week professional development program in which teachers take academic seminars, observe classrooms, co-teach and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.
Approximately 50+ secondary school teachers from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have participated in this exchange program. Inspired from their Fulbright TEA experience, many Fulbright TEA alumni have developed and successfully implemented innovative practices or problem-solving strategies in their own classroom and are eager to share their best practices with fellow teachers.
Taking advantage of this talented group of teachers, VietTESOL Association and RELO Vietnam are going to organize the very first virtual Fulbright TEA alumni conference on 15 August, 2021. The conference will invite 15 Fulbright TEA alumni from the region to present various practical teaching tips and techniques for the K-12 English language classroom. The conference will also feature a pre-conference workshop and a keynote presentation by Dr. Donita Grissom from the University of Central Florida, USA. More details will be updated soon, so please stay tuned!
