In this session, participants will be shown effective ways to encourage the students' interaction and monitor students’ progress on an ongoing basis in the online teaching context. Mr. Duc will share helpful teaching resources with English language teachers so as to encourage students’ participation, yet effectively manage their workload.

During 14 years working as an education specialist as well as a computer programmer (since 2006) and three years as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (since 2017), Mr. Duc Pham has been in pursuit of using technology to enable innovative teaching and in learning. His research in developing digital materials for teaching English in environment protection theme received awards from Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam and Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training. Duc has won the special award in the innovative teacher competition based on IT framework. Duc is also a lecturer at National Academy of Education Management with an interesting academic background including a BA in IT Engineer, one MA in Education Management, and another MA in TESOL from Victoria University and taking a PhD course on education management. His research interests are building and operating MOOCs efficiently, improving online learning experiences, applying Data Analytic for analyzing students learning process in order to return positive feedbacks and enhance the self-learning capacity and ICT in formative and summative assessments.
