While teachers are expert in their disciplines, they might not have the pedagogical tools to help their students be successful in English acquisition strategies to access content-area materials. In this workshop, you will learn several strategies that you can take into your own classroom to help support students struggling with English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. These strategies add to a teacher's toolbox of techniques to allow planning for English learning through assessing students and collaborating with their co-teachers (if any).
