RELO Vietnam Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Alumni Conference is annual event co-organized by VietTESOL Association and RELO Vietnam. The conference features talented high school teachers in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam who are past participants in the U.S. Government sponsored Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program.
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (Fulbright TEA) is a U.S. Government sponsored teacher exchange program. Fulbright TEA brings international, secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week professional development program in which teachers take academic seminars, observe classrooms, co-teach and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.
Approximately 50+ secondary school teachers from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have participated in this exchange program. Inspired from their Fulbright TEA experience, many Fulbright TEA alumni have developed and successfully implemented innovative practices or problem-solving strategies in their own classroom and are eager to share their best practices with fellow teachers.
