We are pleased to announce that all results of the abstract review for VIC 2024 have been sent out. Given the large number of submissions, the review process of this year has been highly competitive. The reviewing job has then become very challenging for us. Our review team has been working very hard. If you have not received any email notification from us, please check your spam mail folder. Contact us if necessary.

We would like to congratulate those whose abstracts have been accepted for inclusion in the convention program. It is also important to note that some abstracts are accepted in track or a type which is different from the original intention of the authors. This is because of a large volume of submissions that we received, and we could not accommodate them all as we wish. To support our presenters, we have extended the registration deadline for presenters to June 8th 2024. Please follow the registration guideline at here.

For those whose abstracts were not included in the program, we feel very unfortunate and dearly encourage you to join us as participants. Your presence and insights are highly valued, and we look forward to your contributions during the convention.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to over 200 colleagues and experts of the review panel. We would be unable to come up with such challenging decisions without your services.

Please note that the invited featured presentations and keynotes are being reviewed, and the decision has not been made yet. The abstracts submitted for the pre-convention workshops are also under review. We will notify the authors as soon as the final decisions are finalized.

We are thrilled to announce that the abstract review process for the VietTESOL International Convention (VIC) 2024 has been successfully completed. This year, many abstracts underwent rigorous evaluation, with some receiving over five reviews, leading to critical decisions about their acceptance.

In the coming days, we will be sending out acceptance letters to the authors. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this important notification. Congratulations to all whose abstracts have been accepted!

To ensure the smooth planning of the convention schedule, we kindly request that all accepted presenters confirm their agreement to present at the conference by completing this Presenter Confirmation form. This is the first step in the registration process, and no payment is required at this stage. After completing this form, please proceed to the Registration section at the convention homepage and complete the registration form, where payment will be required. Both of these steps need to be done by June 1st, 2024 at the latest. This Presenter Confirmation form is only required for the speaker. It is not required for the co-authors. The co-authors need to proceed directly to the Registration section of the convention homepage.

Failure to confirm your agreement to present and register for attendance by the deadline may result in the forfeiture of your presentation slot. Please also refer to the Important Dates of the convention for your preparation.

We do not expect any full-text version of any presentation at this stage. A call for the full-text version of your papers for inclusion in the convention proceedings will be released on August 10th 2024. If you wish to make a submission, please hold until August. 

There is no strict requirement for the preparation of slides to be presented at the convention. Some technical guidelines will be provided for the poser presentation in a couple of weeks. Please just stay tuned.

The organizing committee of the VietTESOL International Convention 2024 (VIC 2024) is thrilled to announce the receipt of an unprecedented number of abstract submissions. Over 540 abstracts, encompassing a wide range of topics and diverse contexts, have been submitted this year. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the contributors for their interest and efforts.

The abstract submission system has now been closed, and the review process has commenced. Each abstract will undergo a rigorous evaluation by at least two colleagues in the relevant field to ensure a high standard of discussion and dissemination of knowledge at the convention. Final decisions on each submission will be confirmed by the respective track director and co-directors.

Our reviewers are working very hard

We understand the anticipation and eagerness of all submitters awaiting the outcome of their submissions. Please be assured that the review process is designed to be thorough and fair. We are committed to notifying all authors of the status of their abstracts by May 20 at the latest. Please refer to the important dates of the convention.
