The English teaching program under HPET has been implemented since 2018. However, "Feedback of students and lecturers about teaching English activities for medical students under HPET project" is necessary. The study consists of two objectives: to find out how satisfied students and faculties are in teaching English under this project; to know the assessment of students' English self-study style. The participants include 400 first year and second year medical students and 8 faculties of English. The study was conducted with descriptive cross-sectional method and analysis combining quantitative and qualitative research. The results showed that: students were are really satisfied with: interesting lessons (9% disagree, 52% normal). Besides, Two aspects that students are not really satisfied with are faculty's student encouragement to help develop creativity and thinking ability (7.5% disagree, 41% normal; GPA: 3.49, SD: 0.81). The ability to self-study English is not really good. Students do not pay attention to the requirements of self-study: study plan for this subject to achieve high results (10% disagree, 52% normal, GPA: 3.27, SD: 0.81) ; self-study method (over 20% strongly disagree and disagree). The paper ends by highlighting the importance of innovation and school’s policies in teaching and learning.
